  • Mohamed Salah’s dream debut season at Liverpool just keeps getting better after he was named Premier League Player of the Month for the second time.

The Egypt star scored four times in three Premier League games in February – including a brace in the 2-2 draw against top-four rivals Tottenham.

Salah will now look for his 33rd goal in all competitions when he plays at Old Trafford against Manchester United for the first time in a Liverpool shirt on Saturday.

However, he was quick to credit the support of manager Jurgen Klopp and his team-mates for his latest accolade.

“The players make it easier and the coach also makes it easier for me,” said Salah, who became the first Egyptian to win the award when he was handed the trophy in November. “It’s nice to win it again especially because it’s the Player of the Month of the Premier League so that’s something good.

“I say always try to help reach the three points and to be in a better position.”
