Eden Hazard is expected to return from an ankle injury when Chelsea play Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday.

Ahead of the PAOK game, Maurizio Sarri said: “Hazard is not a serious injury but he will not be able to play [against PAOK].

“I think we will be able to recover him for the game on Sunday.”

Sarri made 10 changes for Thursday night’s Europa League 4-0 win over PAOK and is set to restore Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz, Marcos Alonso and N’Golo Kante to the starting line-up.

The Italian may have a choice to make between Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud up front, depending on how France striker Giroud is after his two goals and apparent ankle knock against PAOK.

Provisional squad: Kepa, Caballero, Rudiger, Alonso, Fabregas, Jorginho, Kante, Barkley, Hazard, Pedro, Kovacic, Giroud, Zappacosta, Willian, Cahill, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Morata, Luiz, Emerson Palmieri, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi, Ampadu, Bulka.
