Boss Pep Guardiola has insisted Manchester City will do “absolutely everything” to get youngster Brahim Diaz to reject Real Madrid and sign a new contract.
Diaz, 19, is expected to head back to Spain on a free transfer next summer after he reportedly became frustrated about a lack of first-team opportunities.
Guardiola was quizzed about the rumours in his pre-match press conference before Saturday’s Bournemouth clash.
