The Fantasy Premier League rounds are coming thick and fast now. This is where the more dedicated managers will be able to separate from the casuals.

Looking ahead to GW14, Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea host Leeds, Leicester and West Ham respectively.

Meanwhile, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool travel to Everton, Southampton and Crystal Palace.

Here are a few tips to help guide you through GW14.

    CAPTAIN – MOHAMED SALAH | LIVERPOOL | 12.3M

    Mohamed Salah

He’s been good all season, consistently delivering points, but it’s only of late that his contributions have been highlighted for some reason. That’s why many would be surprised to learn that Mohamed Salah is enjoying his finest start to an FPL season yet.

The Egyptian has already racked up 102 points, seven more than he did after GW13 in his record-breaking 2017/18 campaign.

Following his goal against Tottenham, he has 14 attacking involvements this season, keeping in mind he didn’t feature in GW9 against Leicester.

Salah continues to take plenty of shots and is the chief threat for Liverpool as they travel to Crystal Palace, who haven’t kept a clean sheet since GW1.

    ALTERNATIVE

HARRY KANE (10.9m) suffered only his third blank of the whole season against Liverpool after missing an absolute sitter from a corner kick. He’s most certainly the type to respond strongly though and Leicester’s visit presents him with a great opportunity who are coming off a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Everton.

    BOLD CHOICE

CALLUM WILSON (6.6m) has delivered attacking returns in four of his last six starts for Newcastle. A home fixture against Fulham should allow him to add to that tally with Scott Parker’s side earning only their second clean sheet of the season in GW13.

    ONE TO GET

    SERGIO AGUERO | MAN CITY | 10.3M

    Sergio Aguero

Despite his reputation as one of the best strikers in Premier League history, there’s no denying that Sergio Aguero is a bit of a gamble at the moment. He’s only made one league start this season and is susceptible to rotation, especially over this period of fixture congestion.

However, the risk may be worth the reward as his price has dropped to 10.3m and his ownership to just 1.3 per cent. Now fit, he has the potential to be a massive differential.

But be warned, moving on him now is something of a leap.

    ONE TO AVOID

    TIMO WERNER | CHELSEA | 9.4M

    Timo Werner

Timo Werner continues to play reasonably well, create and get on the end of chances, and generally pass the eye test.

But no points are awarded for that. With Chelsea suffering two defeats on the bounce as well, this may be the start of a rough patch for the Blues.

He’s delivered just one attacking return in the last four GWs and it’s worth keeping in mind that he’ll be inactive during Blank Gameweek 18.

    BARGAIN BUY

    VLADIMIR COUFAL | WEST HAM | 4.6M

    Vladimir Coufal

Tomas Soucek is the most popular budget pick from West Ham’s squad, but Vladimir Coufal is worth considering as well.

The Hammers have picked up the odd clean sheet with four to their name so far and the right-back shows great potential in attack. He picked up his third assist in GW13 and no defender has created more chances (13) in the last six GWs.
