Gameweek 23 in Fantasy Premier League proved Manchester City assets are fixture-proof, delivering big in a 4-1 win over champions Liverpool at Anfield.

Imagine what they may be capable of in Double Gameweek 24. The Citizens face Tottenham at home before travelling to Everton.

The three other teams playing twice in this round are the Toffees themselves, Burnley and Fulham.

Leicester and Liverpool do battle while Arsenal and Chelsea host Leeds and Newcastle respectively.

Elsewhere, Man United are on the road to West Brom.

Here are a few tips to help guide you through GW24.

    CAPTAIN – RAHEEM STERLING | MAN CITY | 11.6M

    Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling has come into some good form of late with goals in each of his last three Premier League starts while he scored in the FA Cup win over Swansea City in midweek as well.

What has been lacking from the English winger though is that explosive performance we know he’s capable of. He’s managed three double-figure hauls this season, but no mammoth returns as of yet.

With two bites at the cherry this time around, could he finally cut loose? With an ownership of just around 13 per cent, that would give those who captain him a very tidy differential boost.

    ALTERNATIVE

ILKAY GUNDOGAN (6.0m) is also in the form of his life with nine goals and an assist in his last 11 outings. He even seems to be excused from rotation since Kevin De Bruyne was sidelined while injuries to Rodri and Fernandinho makes him even more crucial, though he may be forced to adopt a slightly deeper role, which is why he isn’t our top pick. Plus, he’s possibly now off penalties. Ederson, anyone?

    BOLD CHOICE

EDINSON CAVANI (7.9m) looks sharper and sharper with every minute of playing time he gets under his belt. He’s scored in the last two GWs and West Brom last kept a clean sheet in GW10.

    ONE TO GET

    GABRIEL JESUS | MAN CITY | 9.2M

    Gabriel Jesus

Sergio Aguero’s return doesn’t appear to be on the horizon and that has prompted Pep Guardiola to put a little more faith in Gabriel Jesus, who has rewarded it with excellent recent performances. He’s bagged four goals and an assist in his last six appearances in all competitions, averaging a goal involvement every 81.4 minutes.

    ONE TO AVOID

    ANDY ROBERTSON | LIVERPOOL | 7.3M

    Andy Robertson

    Andy Robertson

Simply put, Andy Robertson isn’t justifying his price tag. At 7.3m, he’s overpriced and has blanked in five GWs in a row. The attacking left-back will always boast reasonable attacking potential, but the fact remains that regular clean sheets are top priority and Liverpool’s defence is proving to be all too unreliable at the moment.

    BARGAIN BUY

    MATTHEW LOWTON | BURNLEY | 4.5M

    Matthew Lowton

If you’re looking for attacking returns from Matthew Lowton, don’t hold your breath. The Burnley right-back hasn’t registered a goal or assist yet this season. However, he does represent a cheap and secure way into their defence which has been blessed with a couple of very appealing DGW fixtures.
