A goal from Chris Smalling gave England an unconvincing 1-0 victory over 10-man Portugal, who had Bruno Alves sent off in the first half for a flying kung fu-style kick on Harry Kane.
England open their Euro 2016 campaign against Russia on June 11, while Portugal take on Iceland on June 14.
