  • Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted that Real Madrid’s recent string of poor results is no business of his as Los Blancos continue to struggle without their former superstar.

The Portuguese signed for Juventus in July after nine decorated seasons at Madrid, with only Mariano Diaz arriving at the Bernabeu to replace the 33-year-old in attack.

Since his departure from the Spanish capital, Julen Lopetegui’s side have failed to fire in front of goal, winning just four out of their last nine La Liga matches and currently sitting seventh in the league table.

And following their 2-1 defeat to Levante on Saturday, Ronaldo’s former team-mate Isco dismissed talk of his importance to Madrid amid the club’s slump following five matches without a win.

But the five-time Ballon d’Or winner responded in the build up to Juventus clash against Manchester United on Tuesday, saying “it’s not for me to talk about the crisis of others.”

“It’s all right. You cannot cry,” Ronaldo said. “I do not have to talk about other clubs.

“Everyone knows the story I had at Real Madrid and what is important, Tuesday’s game. It’s not for me to talk about the crisis of others.”
