  • Tottenham boss Maurico Pochettino admits he is worried about Mousa Dembele’s fitness ahead of the must-win Champions League game with PSV.

The midfielder came off after just six minutes of Saturday’s 3-2 win at Wolves with an ankle injury.

He will be assessed before Tuesday’s game, with Spurs third in Group B and needing to win to keep their qualification hopes alive.

“We don’t know but we are a little bit worried,” said Pochettino. “We need to see because we need to assess him on Monday.

“It will be a shame because we hope it’s not a big issue.

“It’s very painful now but I hope it’s not a big issue and he can be with the team again soon.”

Fellow midfielders Victor Wanyama (knee) and Eric Dier (thigh) are already out while Son Heung-Min replaced Dembele at Molineux.

Dele Alli was rested to keep him fresh for Tuesday as Erik Lamela, Lucas Moura and Harry Kane put Spurs 3-0 up on Saturday.

But penalties from Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez – both conceded by Premier League debutant Juan Foyth – ensured a nervous finish for Tottenham.

They returned to the top four, at Arsenal’s expense, while Wolves slipped to a third straight defeat.
