  • Hope: The last day of the season will be dominated by the battle for survival.

The last day of the Premier League season will be dominated by the battle for survival as Newcastle, who play West Ham, and Hull, who take on Manchester United, try to avoid the drop. Andy Gray and Richard Keys, who front beIN Sports’ EPL coverage, discuss these games and the weekend’s other clashes.

    – EPL: Sunderland ensure survival with draw at Arsenal
    – COMMENT: Who will be Manchester United's next No1?

    Newcastle vs West Ham

Andy Gray: The best Newcastle can hope for is that West Ham are not at their best and they escape the drop by the skin of their teeth, but I can’t see it. 1-1.

Richard Keys: I am with Andy on the result because Newcastle are poor and Allardyce will want to get a result for his good friend. 1-1.

    Hull v Manchester United

AG:  The fact United have absolutely nothing to play for is the best thing that could have happened for Hull.  I they come out with all guns blazing and take their chances they can win this 2-1 and survive.

RK: I am not suggesting for a moment that United will take their foot off the gas purposely but psychologically, with nothing to play for, it can happen. Hull will be highly motivated and unlike Newcastle, will have the support of a full house. I’m with Andy on this. 2-1 to send the Toon down.

    Man City v Southampton

AG: City will want to finish the season with a win to send their fans into the close season on a high. Saints have had a great season but will get nothing out of this. 2-0.

RK: I don’t know if it is a coincidence but City have looked much better without Vincent Kompany and they will probably start without him again. City have been good recently and should win 2-0.

    Arsenal v West Brom

AG: Arsenal have been dreadful at home in the past few weeks without a goal in their last three. I expect them to change that against a West Brom who will be in holiday mode. 3-0.

RK: The Gunners have looked tired in but they’ll have enough to win a scruffy match 1-0.

    Aston Villa v Burnley

AG: It will be interesting to see if Tim Sherwood rests his best players in preparation for the FA Cup final. He might decided not to risk Christian Benteke but play most of the others and that will be enough to get a 1-1 draw.

RK: I hope Sherwood plays, more or less, the team that will start the FA Cup final. They might not play at full throttle but will still beat Burnley 2-0.

    Chelsea v Sunderland

AG: There will be a party mood at Stamford Bridge with the team getting the Premier League trophy and Jose Mourinho won’t want to lose. Sunderland are safe so they will be relaxed. 2-0.

RK: If Sunderland needed to win this I would fancy them to beat Chelsea but now there is nothing to play for it’s a home banker. 2-0.

    Crystal Palace v Swansea

AG: Garry Monk has done a fine job at Swansea and they have enough to get a point at Palace who had until last week taken their foot off the gas a little bit. 2-2.

RK: Swansea should take pride in what they have achieved this season and I agree with Andy that Palace have been indifferent apart from that win at Liverpool. 1-1.

    Everton v Tottenham

AG: Everton haven’t been playing as well as some would have you believe and Spurs haven’t been playing as badly as some think, so this has draw written all over it. 1-1.

RK: Everton’s season was over weeks ago but they are at home and will probably raise their game for the season finale. 2-1.

    Leicester v QPR.

AG: Leicester will want to finish their season on a high at home and they should ease past QPR who are down and out. 2-0.

RK: Leicester will romp this 3-0. QPR are a shambles and it could be a while before we see them in the Premier League again.

    Stoke v Liverpool

AG: This is Steven Gerrard’s last game for Liverpool but I don’t think that will make any difference to the result. 2-1 to Stoke.

RK: Stoke will make it a miserable end to the season for Liverpool.  Every which way I look at Liverpool’s season I see failure and I can’t see it being a difficult summer for them.  They look certain to lose Raheem Sterling who will move to either Man City or Arsenal and Brendan Rodgers will have it all to do to get them into some kind of shape for next season. 1-0.
