So who makes this week’s top five?

    1) Daniel Parejo (Valencia) – 9.16
The Spanish international bagged a brace as Valencia stormed to an emphatic 5-1 victory at Celta Vigo. The Los Che captain led from the front with a sumptious free-kick from range which curled over the wall before he later showed great composure to turn in a Paco Alcacer cross for his fourth goal of the season.

    2) Yevhen Konoplyanka (Sevilla) – 8.43

The Ukraine international led the line with perfection and caused endless problems for Real Madrid centre-back pairing Sergio Ramos and Pepe as Sevilla inflicted the first La Liga defeat of the season onto Rafael Benitez’s men. Konoplyanka, 26, played a crucial role in Fernando Llorente’s third goal of the night while he was the go-to man for slick interchange between midfield duo Ciro Immobile and Ever Banega.

    3) Paco Alcacer (Valencia) – 8.37

Spain forward Paco Alcacer showed his class once again in front of goal, scoring twice as Valencia produced their best performance of the season so far to dismantle Celta Vigo. The 22-year-old combined excellently with Parejo to tuck home the away team’s first on 13 minutes before he capitlised on a poor back pass early in the second-half to make it 3-1. All in all, the Valencia academy graduate was on top form as he ran the hosts’ defence ragged.

    4) Ciro Immobile (Sevilla) – 7.95

The powerful Italian striker profitted from some poor Real Madrid defending to equalise from a tight angle and net his first goal for the club in Sunday’s famous win over the Madrid giants. Immobile was a constant thorn in the Madrid defence’s side, sparking a match-winning partnership with Konoplyanka in attack.

    5) Shkodran Mustafi (Valencia) – 7.84

The former Everton defender was a rock in defence for Los Che and even got on the scoresheet in Valencia’s thrashing of Celta Vigo. Mustafi, a Germany international, rose highest and rounded off the scoring with a accurate header following Parejo’s centre.
