  • Moise Kean has been breaking records throughout his fledgling Juventus career, and on Saturday he added another one.

Having already become the first player born this century to appear and score in one of Europe’s top five leagues, as well as appear in the Champions League, he has now become the second quickest to eight Serie A goals in the league’s history, and quickest since a certain Mario Balotelli.

The Italy striker was 18 years, 242 days old when he scored his eighth top-flight goal in Italy, whereas Kean has achieved the feat at just over 150 days older – 19 years, 31 days.

Kean, filling in for the injured Cristiano Ronaldo, came off the bench on Saturday to score Juve’s only goal in a 1-0 win over Empoli.

The milestone comes just a week after Kean also became the second-youngest goalscorer in Italy’s history, getting a goal in the national team’s 2-0 win over Finland last Saturday – and then scoring his second international goal just four days later.
