Juventus have completed the £19.5 million signing of Roma left-back Luca Pellegrini, with defender Leonardo Spinazzola moving in the opposite direction.
The Serie A champions announced they will receive £26.1m for Spinazzola in return.
Pellegrini, 20, only made his debut last season and was loaned out to Cagliari for the second half of the campaign, where he made 12 of his 18 total senior appearances to date.
Similarly, Spinazzola, who had spent the previous two years on loan at Atalanta and before that Siena and Empoli, made his debut last season as one of just 12 appearances.
“It’s a great feeling to be here,” the 26-year-old, who has agreed a four-year contract, told asroma.com.
“Since I was a child I have always had an affinity for Roma – in part because they’ve always played good football.”
