    YANNICK CARRASCO (Atletico Madrid) – 9.2

    Yannick Carrasco scored a hat-trick and assisted two as Atletico Madrid routed Granada 7-1 on Saturday.

    The Belgian was an inspirational presence, and completed his first career treble with a powerful strike on 61 minutes after some clever link up play by Antoine Griezmann.

    Atletico are now two points ahead of Barcelona – despite the champions beating Deportivo la Coruna 4-0.

    ISCO (Real Madrid) – 8.5

    Two superb goals capped an outstanding performance for the Spaniard, who showed why Zinedine Zidane should play him every week.

    Perfectly slowed ball down around midfield and linked up with Toni Kroos effectively to steer Real Madrid to a commanding 6-1 win.

    Zidane’s men still trail Atletico on goal difference as Los Rojiblancos put seven past Granada.

    MARIO SUAREZ (Valencia) – 8.2

    Cesare Prandelli’s reign at Valencia got off to a perfect start as Los Che beat Sporting Gijon 2-1.

    At the centre of the team’s exploits was Mario Suarez who netted a double to lift Valencia out of the relegation zone.

    The former Atletico defender scored just five goals in his five seasons at Vicente Calderon Stadium before moving to the Mestalla Stadium in August.

    IKER MUNIAIN (Athletic Bilbao) – 7.6

    Athletic Bilbao continued their impressive start to the season, beating arch-rivals Real Sociedad in a five-goal thriller (3-2).

    Iker Muniain was the star of the show at San Mames, curling in a sublime effort from outside the box to inspire Bilbao to a first win over their arch-rivals in nearly four years.

    Victory now leaves Ernesto Valverde’s side in sixth place – three points from leaders Altetico Madrid.

    SAMIR NASRI  (Sevilla) – 7.5

    Samir Nasri scored his second goal in four games as Sevilla beat Leganes 3-2.

    Nasri, on-loan from Manchester City, has been an influential presence since linking up with Jorge Sampaoli’s side in August.

    Sevilla are now one point off leaders Atletico and Real after eight games.
