  • Sandwiched between two Champions League matchdays is plenty of La Liga action.

There’s some great talent on show but a few players a worth keeping a particularly close eye on.

Here are three players to watch this weekend.

    OUSMANE DEMBELE

He’ll want to end an injury plagued season on a high note but his return to action against Getafe was a mixed bag. He offered a spark when he came off the bench but had a few sloppy touches. A good opportunity for him to get some minutes and maybe be an option to come on at some point against Chelsea in midweek.

    PABLO SARABIA

With four goals and four assists in his last seven games in all competitions, the midfielder has been on a hot streak. His goal against Girona secured all three points last week. With a Champions League clash against Manchester United to come next, Sevilla will want their midfield dynamo to maintain his form on the road against Las Palmas.

    GARETH BALE

The Welshman has struggled to make an impact over the last few games and was dropped to the bench in favour of Isco for the Champions League win over PSG. He did offer a threat when he replaced Karim Benzema though and a strong display against a good Betis side may see him get the nod for the second leg in Paris.
