Atletico Madrid crashed out of the Copa Del Rey last week as Girona progressed on away goals after a thrilling 3-3 draw.
However, Atletico boss Diego Simeone has no concerns over the result and hopes to get Los Rojiblancos’ season back on track.
The fact that the hosts scored three went down well with the Argentine, who insists he is not worried about the team’s attacking prowess.
“Our level of play is very high and we are creating lots of chances,” Simeone told Marca.
“This has been my message since our game against Sevilla, the attack is playing well together – even in our Copa match against Girona we scored three times, so I have no concerns.
“This gives me plenty of positivity because we are now being consistent, and we now have momentum and enthusiasm going into each game.
“This season was always going to present us with many difficulties and it is true we have had a lot of injuries, but hopefully players will recover soon and we can go on with a complete squad.”
