Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp brought back all his big guns for the Champions League semi-final first leg at home to Roma with 41-goal forward Mohamed Salah facing the club he left last summer for the first time.
Five changes saw Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dejan Lovren, Andrew Robertson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Roberto Firmino return having been rested for the 2-2 draw at West Brom on Saturday.
Roma included former Manchester City players Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolorov in their side.
