Brazil midfielder Fred has declared that he is just happy to wear his national team jersey and not relieved to be away from Manchester United, as he prepares for his country’s friendly match against Saudi Arabia on Friday.
Fred, 25, has endured a trying start to his debut campaign in the Premier League after a blockbuster summer move from Ukraine’s Shakhtar Donetsk.
He is now set to play Saudi Arabia in Riyadh this weekend and Argentina on Tuesday in Jeddah.
