  • Egypt's Mohamed Salah celebrates after scoring in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tunisia.

Mohamed Salah scored a 90th minute winner to give Egypt a 3-2 victory at home against Tunisia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria.

The Liverpool star chipped the ball into the back of the net for the 39th goal of his international career, taking him into third outright in Egypt’s all-time scoring list.

Naim Sliti gave Tunisia the early lead before Mahmoud Hassan cancelled it before half-time at the 86,000-seat venue on Friday.

Baher el Mohamady put Egypt in front on the hour mark but Sliti scored again with 18 minutes to go as a draw seemed a likely result.

But Salah kept his best for last as he bamboozled Farouk Ben Mustapha after a fine interplay with Salah Mohsen.

However, the Liverpool superstar was booked for removing his shirt while celebrating his fourth goal of the campaign.
