Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar let his emotions flow as he admired Lionel Messi’s role in his development at the Catalan Club.
In an interview on Brazil’s Globo TV, the 27-year-old was asked about Messi, who he played alongside at Barcelona for four years from 2013 to 2017.
Neymar became very emotional and said that talking about the Argentine is very difficult for him.
“Honestly, it’s difficult, very difficult for me to talk about Messi, because it was very special for me at Barcelona, I say this to everybody,” the Brazilian told Esporte Espetacular.
“At the moment when I needed the most support, the best player in the world arrived and gave me a hand. He said: ‘Come here, I’m here to help you’.”
