  • Los Blancos welcomed back club legend Cristiano Ronaldo to training on Saturday for the first time this summer.

The iconic No.7 star was given an extended break following his participation in the Confederations Cup with Portugal and due to the ongoing court case over alleged tax fraud.

But now, Ronaldo is back on the pitch and is set to play in Madrid’s UEFA Super Club final clash against Manchester United on Tuesday in Skopje.

The Portuguese’s return will represent a significant boost for Zinedine Zidane’s side who have yet to hit top form in pre-season and will be more than aware of the big Spanish Super Cup double-header clash coming up against Barcelona later this month.

Ronaldo has been documenting much of his pre-season training on social media, including a recent post of him running through a park.

Interestingly, Real Madrid didn’t post any social media of the 32-year-old back in action.
