  • Star for club and country: Isco.

Both Nike and Adidas want to tie-up Real Madrid superstar Isco into a new boot deal within the next year.

The golden boy of Spanish football, who currently has a deal in place with Nike until 2018, is being chased by rivals Adidas while the famous tick brand have the right to negotiate their existing contract with the 25-year-old.

Given Isco penned a new contract extension until 2022 with Los Blancos-sponsored Adidas last week, the German manufacturer are aware it would represent good business to get the midfielder linked up from an individual viewpoint with the brand too.

Indeed, according to Marca, Adidas have apparently offered €2m to Isco, which would see the Whites playmaker wear their make from next year.

It is now up to the Malaga-born player to decide whether he stays with Nike or indeed opts for change.
