UEFA Champions League holders Real Madrid have snapped up the teenage son of former Barcelona, Chelsea and Iceland star Eidur Gudjohnsen.
2pm – Potential Mateo Kovacic switch adds to Thibaut Courtois saga
Real Madrid are undoubtedly infurating Chelsea with their pursuit of Thibaut Courtois – now they could be prepared to offer a sweetener in the form of Mateo Kovacic.

11am – Bilbao could hold key to Courtois deal
It’s good news for Whites fans, Chelsea are looking at a move for Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to replace Thibaut Courtois.
The likelihood of the Belgian No1 arriving at the Bernabeu is heavily weighted on the Blues’ success in finding a suitable successor for him.
As such, should the west Londoners clinch a deal for the highly-rated Spaniard, then Courtois’s switch to Madrid should be imminent.
