  • Target man: Harry Kane.

After the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo Real Madrid are suffering a goal drought with no goals in the last four games.

The problem came to a head on the weekend when Los Blancos suffered a shock 1-0 reverse to Alaves in LaLiga.

The Spanish giants desperately need a new a new striker and following reports on Spain they have placed Tottenham Hotspur marksman Harry Kane at the top of their list.

The 25-year-old has netted a remarkable 146 goals for Spurs and has long been linked with a move away from north London.

El Mundo Deportivo cite a report in El Confidencial that Kane, who won the Golden Boot at this summer’s World Cup, is back on Madrid’s radar.

Ronaldo left the club to join Juventus in a €100m deal earlier this year with Mariano Diaz returned from Olympique Lyonnais.

But the absence of goals is clearly starting to become an urgent problem and heaping growing pressure on manager Julen Lopetegui.
