Real Madrid are prepared to make a January offer for Porto left-back Alex Telles as they plan for life without unsettled Marcelo, according to reports.
Telles, 25, first came on the radar of Los Blancos last summer. This followed Juventus’ links to Los Blancos’ resident superstar full-back.
Record have stated that Madrid will activate the €40 million release clause in the Brazilian’s contract, regardless of whether Marcelo leaves in the winter or summer.
Telles has scored five times in 90 appearances since July 2016’s arrival from Galatasaray.
