    If being humiliated by their rivals and dropping to ninth place in the league didn’t suffice, Real Madrid now have some injuries to worry about after losing Varane to a groin injury.

    The Frenchman will be joining Marcelo on the sideline for a month. Mariano Diaz is also injured and the forward will be sidelined for about ten days.

    The Argentine who was appointed as interim manager for Real Madrid hasn’t ruled out a full-time position at the club but maintains that the priority is to win the Copa Del Rey match against third division side Melilla on Wednesday night.
