Marco Asensio’s agent has declared that the player has no intention of leaving Real Madrid, despite suffering a rough patch this season.
Asensio is not having the best of times following a breakout season. This is bound to attract suitors and it is suggested that Inter Milan are eyeing a move for the Spaniard.
“Marco is honoured to be of interest to a club like Inter,” agent Horacio Gaggioli told FCInterNews.it.
“I don’t know if it is true or not, but for the moment the player has no intention of leaving Real Madrid.”
The midfielder – who turns 23 next month – has established himself as a starter ahead of Isco under Santiago Solari. But with just three goals in 24 appearances, the former Mallorca man really needs to step up his game to keep his spot in the line-up.
