It was an unusually quiet January transfer window for most clubs in La Liga but here is your definitive guide to all the deals that did take place.
Athletic Bilbao
Sitting in 6th in the division, 10 points adrift of the Champions League qualifying spots, Athletic will almost certainly be vying for a spot in the Europa League come the end of the campaign. Given the club can only sign players with Basque nationality, they continue to rely on their youth system rather than a cheque book.

Atletico Madrid
Atletico allegedly made a last minute move for former striker Diego Costa on Sunday night, offering Chelsea cash plus Jackson Martinez for the volatile front man, but the deal was rejected by the London club. Their one signing brings plenty of La Liga experience which will aid in their attempt to dethrone Barcelona.

Barcelona
With their transfer ban now lifted, the Catalan giants finally got to register summer signings Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal during the January window. The manner in which they have been carving up opponents may render new signings redundant, but the added depth should help them in their treble bid.

Deportivo
Having yo-yoed between the top two tiers in the early parts of this decade, the 1999/2000 La Liga champions consolidated their place in the division last season, narrowly avoiding the drop. They have been a much better outfit this term, and currently sit in the relative lofty heights of 9th and will finish out the campaign with their squad more or less the same as it started.

Levante
Levante have pulled off one of the coups of the transfer market by landing Italian international Giuseppe Rossi on loan for the remainder of the season. The striker has had his fitness issues over the past couple of seasons, suffering from recurring knee injuries, but the 28 year old is keen for game time to increase his chances of earning a place at Euro 2016. Rossi is no stranger to La Liga, notching up 54 goals in 136 games for Villarreal between 2007 and 2013. Levante will be hoping his goals can fire them off the foot of the table.

Malaga
It’s not long since Malaga were trying to push into the upper echelons of the Spanish League, by going on a Doha backed spending spree, that saw them finish in the top six twice in two seasons under Manuel Pellegrini, and reach the quarter finals of the Champions League in 2012/13. Since then the club have been castigated for the debts they racked up and have been trying to cut back costs. The majority of the dealings this window were those heading out.

They did change manager over the past month however, with Zinidine Zidane replacing Rafa Benitez.

It cost Tottenham £8m (Dh42.2m) to lure Federico Fazio from Andalusia to London the summer of 2014.
