  • On the move: Antonio Candreva.

It’s been a day of big moves in Serie A, with both Inter and Roma parting with eight-figure sums to bolster their squads ahead of the coming season.

In England, meanwhile, champions Leicester City continue their summer of quiet reinforcement with the signing of a young star of Euro 2016.

    Sport360 rounds-up the day’s transfer news:

Antonio Candreva, Lazio to Inter, €22 million (Done Deal)

The midfielder is viewed as the final piece to Inter’s attack. His acquisition on a four-year deal will likely see Ivan Perisic, Ever Banega and Candreva playing behind Mauro Icardi in a 4-2-3-1.

The Italy international scored 10 goals in 30 Serie A games last season.

Mohammed Salah, Chelsea to Roma, €19 million (Done Deal)

The Egypt star spent last season on loan at the Serie A giants and they have taken up their option to make the move permanent.

The winger’s buy-out figure was €19m, with an impressive €6m profit on the player they bought from Basle two years ago.

Bartosz Kapustka, Cracovia to Leicester City, €9 million (Done Deal)

The EPL champions have completed a deal for the talented 19-year-old Poland winger after he put pen to paper on a five-year deal.

He’s one for the future but his versatility could be of use to Claudio Ranieri having operated at full-back and as a defensive midfielder.

Jonas Hector, Cologne to Liverpool, €24 million (Reported)

Jurgen Klopp is intent on ushering someone into the problematic left-back spot, with Alberto Moreno failing to live up to his billing since a move from Sevilla two summers ago.

However, Hector’s €24m transfer fee could be a sticking point.

Roberto Soriano, Sampdoria to Villarreal, €14 million (Done Deal)

The Italy international has agreed a five-year deal ending his seven-year association with Sampdoria.

It’s another smart signing for Villarreal having lost Denis Suarez, Eric Bailly earlier this summer and they’ve now added the striker to Alexandre Pato and Alfred N’Diaye.
