  • Jesé and Vermaelen say adios to La Liga.

With leagues around Europe beginning to kick-off, the need to finish adding the final touches to squads ahead of the August 31 transfer deadline is becoming ever more pressing.

Sport360 rounds-up the biggest transfer stories from around the world.

Jesé Rodríguez, Real Madrid to Paris Saint-Germain, €25m (Done Deal)

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi revealed the Spanish forward will be the club’s fifth and final signing of the summer after he signed a five-year deal in Paris.

Jesé will provide cover for Edinson Cavani; now first-choice No. 9 following the exit of Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Thomas Vermaelen, Barcelona to Roma, Loan (Done Deal)

The Giallorossi have an option to buy the Belgian at the end of the seaon, presumably – given his recent injury history – based on his fitness. It’s been three seasons since the 30-year-old played more than 15 leagu games in a campaign.

Mauricio Isla , Juventus to Cagliari, €4.5m (Done Deal)

The Chilean wing-back, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at QPR and Marseille, has signed a three-year contract in Sardinia after opting to remain in the Serie A despite interest from Premier League side Watford.

Arthur Masuaku, Olympiakos to West Ham, €6m (Done Deal)

With Aaron Cresswell out until December with a knee injury at the earliest, the Hammers have landed a replacement at left-back in former French U-19 international Masuaku. He could make his debut in West Ham’s season opener at Chelsea next Monday.

Lucas Perez, Deportivo to Leicester, €15m (In Talks)

The Foxes look set to further bolster their ranks with the addition of the Spanish forward, having scouted him extensively last season. The Premier League champions are pushing to get the deal completed before their league game against Hull on Saturday.
