  • It was another busy day in the transfer market.

We’re drawing ever closer the the curtain closing on another summer transfer window and teams are still looking to do business.

Today, England ‘keeper Joe Hart looks to have sealed a way out of Pep Guardiola’s reign at Manchester City, while two Premier League clubs break their transfer records and Napoli snap up a Croatian starlet.

Here, we round-up the day’s major transfer stories.

    SOFIANE BOUFAL
    LILLE TO SOUTHAMPTON

    £16m (Dh77m) – DONE DEAL

The Morocco playmaker has become the most-expensive player in Southampton’s history after signing a five-year contract at St Mary’s. Saints director of football Les Reed revealed they have been scouting the 22-year-old for the last two seasons.

    MARKO ROG
    DINAMO ZAGREB TO NAPOLI
    LOAN – DONE DEAL

The Croatia midfielder has moved to the Stadio San Paolo on a season’s loan with an option to buy the 21-year-old for €12.5m. Rog was part of the Croatia squad at Euro 2016 and impressed with his control in midfield during their group-stage victory over Spain.

    NACER CHADLI
    TOTTENHAM TO WEST BROM
    £13m (Dh62.5m) – DONE DEAL

Baggies boss Tony Pulis was desperate for new signings and the club acted quickly to satisfy their manager by bringing the Belgian winger in for a club record fee. Chadli scored 15 goals and added 10 assists in 88 Premier League appearances for Spurs.

    JOE HART
    MAN CITY TO TORINO
LOAN – IN TALKS, RUMOURED MEDICAL

Reports in Italy claim Hart has made it known he is interested in a move to Turin, with the Serie A club having a private jet standing by if they receive the go-ahead. The major sticking point could be the loan fee City are asking for, which could be as much as £7m, but reports last night suggested Hart was leaving the England camp to undergo a medical at Torino.

    ADRIEN SILVA
    SPORTING TO LEICESTER
    £21m (Dh101m) – NEW TARGET

The Portuguese midfielder gave an interview to O Jogo yesterday in which he declared his interest in moving to the King Power Stadium. The Foxes are also keen on team-mate Islam Slimani but are wary of the £34m valuation Sporting have placed on the Algerian.
