    EDEN HAZARD

Real Madrid are set to break the world record transfer record by signing the Belgian this summer, according to The Sun.

The 26-year-old is said to be one of Los Blancos’ prime summer transfer targets, along with De Gea, who is now likely to stay at Manchester United after nearly two years of transfer speculation.

Hazard is believed to have been promised a role as Real’s advanced playmaker, operating between Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.

While Hazard is happy under Antonio Conte at Chelsea, it is believed he is ready for a change after five seasons at Stamford Bridge.

    RATING: 5/10

SPORT360 VERDICT: With Madrid set to ramp up their attempts to sign a number of key players during the summer transfer window, it looks unlikely they will fork out in excess of £100 million on Hazard. Although he would add even more pace and class to a star-studded attack at the Bernabeu, Chelsea and Conte will do what they can to keep hold of their prized asset for next season.

    DAVID DE GEA

Manchester United have turned down a £60million Real Madrid offer for David De Gea, according to Sky sources.

Real’s offer is more than three times the £18million United paid Atletico Madrid for the Spain number one in 2011 – and almost double the current record fee for a goalkeeper.

    RATING: 8/10

SPORT360 VERDICT: If United had lost to Ajax in last week’s Europa League final it is believed De Gea would have considered his future at the club, especially given the interest from Real Madrid. However, with Champions League football confirmed for next season, he is reportedly happy to stay at Old Trafford.

    TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO

Chelsea will arm Antonio Conte with a £200million transfer kitty this summer and the Italian will spend over £42million of it on Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to the Independent.

The 22-year-old Frenchman has been a key part of Monaco’s Ligue 1 title-winning side, making 31 appearances this season.

With widespread reports that Chelsea could ship Michy Batshuayi to Monaco, this would help to get the deal over the line.

    VERDICT: 7/10

SPORT360 RATING: The Frenchman has emerged as a key target to strengthen Chelsea’s midfield options and the club are expected to step up their efforts to sign the player as early as next week.
