    ALEX SANDRO

Manchester United are set to launch a £60 million bid for Juventus full-back Alex Sandro in January, according to the Daily Mirror.

Chelsea missed out on the Brazilian during the summer and now the Red Devils look poised to bring the 26-year-old to Old Trafford.

Sandro, who has three years left on his current deal at Juventus, is considered a vital cog in Massimiliano Allegri’s side.

He was impressive during Juve’s treble winning campaign last term, scoring three goals and providing five assists in 43 appearances.

    RATING: 6/10

    VERDICT

Spurs star Danny Rose has been linked with a move to United in recent months, but the Old Trafford hierarchy know a deal with Sandro will be easier to get over the line.

The fee may be steep for a player who has struggled thus far this campaign, but with United ready to offload Matteo Darmian to Galatasaray, it would make room to sign a new left-back.

    PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has agreed to extend his Borussia Dortmund contract until 2021, according to Bild.

The Gabon striker – a target of Chelsea and Liverpool – has widely been linked with a move away from Dortmund, but looks set to stay in Germany’s north west after penning a mammoth contract extension.

The 28-year-old was the Bundesliga’s top scorer last season with 31 goals, one ahead of Robert Lewandowski, and has netted 13 times in 15 matches this term.

    RATING: 7/10

    VERDICT

Dortmund will be able to draw a sigh of relief with news of Aubameyang’s contract extension.

While the clubs linked with the ace attacker during the summer will no doubt turn his head, the 28-year-old is coming into the peak of his powers and staying at the Westfalenstadion looks a promising decision for his future.

    WILFRIED ZAHA

Chelsea are eyeing a move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Ivory Coast international has been in instrumental form for the London side this term, and Blues boss Antonio Conte is monitoring his progress.

With Tottenham and Arsenal also interested in securing his signature, Chelsea are believed to be in pole position to sign the 25-year-old next summer.

    RATING: 6/10

    VERDICT

Conte is expected to spent big to bolster his squad in January and next summer, and Zaha looks an ideal candidate to add to his ranks.

After a poor spell at Manchester United, Zaha looks back to his best with big clubs circling for his signature and the feeling is that he can excel for a Champions League side.
