    MOUSA DEMBELE

Tottenham have opened talks with their midfield talisman in the hope to tie the Belgian down to a new contract.

The Sun reports that the Lilywhites are set to offer the 30-year-old a bumper new deal to ward off interest from the likes of Juventus and AC Milan, as well as clubs in La Liga.

Dembele’s current deal is up at the end of next season and Spurs want to ensure the powerhouse remains at the club.

At the moment, the former Fulham central midfielder takes home around £60,000 per week (Dh306,000) but the Premier League side are set to double that to put him in line with other top earners like Harry Kane.

    Class performer: Dembele.

    GUILLERMO

West Brom have identified the Numancia hitman as the man to fire them back to the Premier League, with relegation from the English top flight almost a certainty.

With just seven matches left to play, Alan Pardew’s men are at least 11 points from safety and look set for the Championship next term.

While the club will still continue their fight to avoid the drop, planning for next season is already underway with The Sun reporting that the Baggies will try and sign the 24-year-old striker.

A host of players are set to exit the Hawthorns, freeing up funds for West Brom to clinch a cut-price £2million (Dh102m) deal for the forward who is currently plying his trade in Spanish football’s second tier.

    ANGUS GUNN

The Manchester City goalkeeper is wanted by both Stoke and Celtic, according to The Daily Record.

The 22-year-old, who signed for the Sky Blues in 2011 but has not yet appeared for the club, is on loan at Norwich this term – his boyhood side.

Gunn, who was called up by England boss Gareth Southgate for a friendly match against Brazil last year, looks unlikely to carve out a future at City with Ederson being Pep Guardiola’s first choice.

As such, both the Potters – if they secure their top-flight status – and the Scottish giants, are in the mix for his signature.
