    KYLIAN MBAPPE

Man City are set to move for star attacker Kylian Mbappe if PSG fail to meet Financial Fair Play rules, the Mirror reports.

The French giants are being investigated by UEFA after paying a combined £365m (Dh1.9 billion) for Neymar and Kylian Mbappe last summer.

If the Parisiens are found to have broken FFP regulation they face being hit with a massive fine, which would force them to sell some of their top players.

Sky Blues boss Pep Guardiola is monitoring the situation, and wants Mbappe after seeing the former Monaco hitman shine in the Champions League.

    PACO ALCACER

Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer could be on his way to the Premier League in the summer after several English clubs expressed an interest in the Spaniard, reports Sport.

The 24-year-old has struggled to make an impact since moving from Valencia in 2016, and is very much a back-up to club legend Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Camp Nou.

The Torrente native – who has scored seven goals in all competitions this season – would provide firepower to Southampton, West Ham and Monaco should any of the interested clubs submit a bid for his services during the summer.

    MATTHIJS DE LIGT

Man City remain in pole position to sign the highly-rated Ajax defender, according to the Mirror.

The Etihad Stadium club have identified the 18-year-old as a top target and will watch him at close quarters for the rest of the season.

The towering centre-back has become a regular fixture in the Ajax side this campaign, prompting further reported interested from Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

Billed as the next Virgil van Dijk after forming an impressive partnership with the Liverpool ace at international level, de Ligt could be available for £50million (Dh 261.5m).
