LUKA MODRIC

Luka Modric has left open the possibility of a future move to join Zlatan Ibrahimovic in MLS if he is unable to finish his career with Real Madrid, SVT Sport reports.

The 32-year-old Croatian international is nearing the end of his sixth season in La Liga, having joined from Tottenham in 2012.

With Zinedine Zidane set for an overhaul of his squad at the end of the season, the Croatian international could be tempted by a move to America where he would bring buckets of experience to a developing league.

CLEMENT LENGLET

Manchester United have put the highly-rated Sevilla centre-half on their summer hit list, the Sun claims.

The 22-year-old impressed in Sevilla’s win over United in the Champions League quarter-finals last month and scouts have been sent to Spain to monitor the French U-21 international.

With Jose Mourinho set for an overhaul of his side this summer, Lenglet could be available for £20million and would be a serious addition to a creaking defence that has seen Marcos Rojo, Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling struggle for form in recent months.

WILFRIED ZAHA

The in-form Crystal Palace striker is set to snub any potential suitors by committing his long-term future at Selhurst Park, the Independent reports.

The 25-year-old has been in scintillating form for Roy Hodgson’s side this season and has been linked with moves to Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City.

The Ivorian showed his class in last weekend’s 3-2 win over Brighton, scoring twice during a 30-minute spell to further ease relegation fears for the Eagles.

Zaha, who has four years to run on his current contract in south London, has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 22 league matches.

MAROUANE FELLAINI

The Manchester United midfielder is being pursued by six teams as his contract at Old Trafford winds down, the Mirror reports.

The 30-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho this season and is desperate to leave England’s northwest.

Despite Mourinho’s efforts to keep him until 2020, the Belgian has turned down an improved offer from the Manchester hierarchy.

Fellaini will be part of Belgium’s World Cup this summer and is looking for one final big pay day before he retires.

The Belgian has also been linked with Monaco, West Ham, Paris St-Germain, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Roma.

MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI

Arsenal are ready to fight Chelsea for the Juventus boss, according to the Express.

The Italian was widely tipped as the top candidate for the Gunners last summer had Wenger not signed a new two-year contract.

Given Antonio Conte’s success in his first season at Chelsea in 2016-17, it would be interesting to see if Allegri could have a similar impact if he moved from Juventus to the Premier League.

But Arsenal face a huge challenge of luring the three-time Serie A winning coach to the Emirates Stadium, with Chelsea in pole position to secure his services.

Mario Balotelli

Italian striker Mario Balotelli on Saturday dropped a strong hint he could leave Nice at the end of the season after two years with the Ligue 1 club.

Balotelli has scored 39 goals in 61 matches since arriving in France on a free transfer in August 2016 following dismal spells at Liverpool and AC Milan.

“It’s been two amazing years thanks to everyone,” Balotelli wrote on his Instagram account. “It’s not a bye for now…you never know the future. I only wanted to say thanks already now.”

The 27-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with a return to Italy or England.

Balotelli’s agent, Mino Raiola, last month said the striker would be “a bargain” for potential suitors in the summer, but Nice are reluctant to lose him for nothing.

Sixth-placed Nice host Montpellier on Sunday in a match crucial to their hopes of qualifying for the Europa League, although Balotelli is expected to miss out due to illness.
