    ALISSON

Roma are set to double their star goalkeeper’s wages in a bid to keep the Brazil No1 at Stadio Olimpico, according to Sky Sport in Italy.

The 25-year-old has been the subject of intense interest from both Liverpool and Real Madrid but this season’s Champions League semi-finalists want to tie the shot-stopper down on a long-term basis.

Although Alisson still have three years left on his existing contract, he is seeking more lucrative terms and the Giallorossi will have to flex their financial muscle to ward off interest from the Premier League and La Liga.

Sources close to the former Internacional star have stated that the man between the sticks wants to wait until after the conclusion of the World Cup before making a call on his future.

Alisson conceded seven goals over two legs against Liverpool.

    SANTI CAZORLA

The Arsenal playmaker could end his six-year affiliation with Arsenal this summer and re-sign for former side Villarreal.

Spanish outlet AS reports that the 33-year-old recently held a conversation with the Yellow Submarines’ club president, opening the door to a return to El Madrigal.

The diminutive but ever popular Spaniard, who is a free agent in June, has spent the best part of the past two seasons recovering from a series of career-threatening injuries to his Achilles tendon, which has seen him undergo as many as 11 operations.

Cazorla has previously had two separate spells at Villarreal, turning out for the club between 2003-06 and 2007-11. He also enjoyed a solitary season at Recreativo Huelva between those two stints and spent 12 months at Malaga before joining Arsenal in 2012.

A move back to the place where he made his name would be a fitting end to his career.
