Serie A champion Juventus are continuing to push for Russia and CSKA Moscow playmaker Aleksandr Golovin and are close to sealing a €25 million (Dh107m) switch, according to Tuttosport.

Golovin, 22, has emerged as one of the bright stars of World Cup 2018 after leading hosts Russia into the knockouts. Allied with strong performances at club level, this has seen the Old Lady determined to beat Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona to his signature.

Juve have already seen an €18m (Dh77m) offer knocked back and they are now moving close to agreeing a package to bring him to Turin.

Paris Saint-Germain’s hunt for midfield ballast has led them to Celta Vigo and Slovakia’s Stanislav Lobotka, according to El Desmarque.

Lobotka, 23, was a key performer in Galicia last season after his July 2017 arrival from Denmark’s FC Nordsjaelland. New PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is desperate to add a defensive midfielder to his squad and he is now eyeing the 11-times-capped international.

Napoli had made headway on a €40m (Dh171.3m) move and are favourites. But PSG could be prepared to activate a €50m (Dh214.1m) release clause in Lobotka’s contract.
