  • Real Madrid star Mateo Kovacic is set to move on from the Bernabeu.

The summer transfer window is open and across the globe there is a frenzy of speculation as players and coaches look for their next moves.

There is plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen very soon.

    MATEO KOVACIC

Real Madrid‘s Croatian midfielder star wants to leave the Bernabeu in search of regular first-team football, Marca reports.

The 24-year-old, who has recently been linked with Tottenham, was part of Zlatko Dalic’s Dragons side which reached the World Cup final in Russia.

However, Kovacic has found it difficult to make an impact in the Spanish capital since his arrival from Inter Milan back in the summer of 2015 and is reportedly on the lookout for a new challenge.

According to sources, the former Dinamo Zagreb man has held talks with new Los Blancos boss Julen Lopetegui and insisted he wants to move on.

    ANDRE SCHURRLE

Premier league duo Crystal Palace and Fulham are locked in a two-way fight to land the former Chelsea star, Bild reports.

The 2014 Germany World Cup winner, who has been deemed all but surplus to requirements at Borussia Dortmund, has been told he can leave the Bundesliga outfit amid interest from England.

Schurrle, who is still only 27, could be available for a cut-price fee and would represent a significant coup for either side given his ability to operate from either wing and a chief striking role.

He spent two seasons at Stamford Bridge and won the league title with Jose Mourinho’s then side in 2014-15.

    ALEX TELLES

Juventus are looking to sign the Porto left-back in a deal worth €30 million (Dh 129m), Esporte UOL reports.

The Old Lady have lined-up the offensive Brazilian defender with it looking likely that Manchester United target Alex Sandro could leave the Turin club this summer.

Telles was a key part of Porto’s Primeira Liga-winning side last term, bagging a record 20 assists for Sergio Conceicao’s charges.

The 26-year-old, who joined the Portuguese giants in the summer of 2016 from Galatasaray after a loan stint with Inter Milan, has a contract with the Estadio do Dragao club until 2021.
