Chelsea star Willian has insisted he is more than content to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Following the Community Shield defeat to Manchester City at Wembley, the 30-year-old Brazilian once again placed on record his willingness to continue his career in west London.

However, the midfielder did hint that he needs more clarification from the club over whether or not they want him to stay long-term.

Willian has been linked with Barcelona all summer long but the chances of a move to the Camp Nou materialising now appear slim, particularly after Blaugrana clinched a deal for Arturo Vidal.

Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele is set to stay with the north London club after turning down a move to Inter Milan, according to the Daily Mail.

The Belgian midfielder, who was part of Roberto Martinez’s World Cup squad which finished third in Russia, has just 12 months remaining on his Spurs contract and it has been suggested he could end his six-season affiliation with the Whites.

But Dembele seems content enough to remain and fight for his place in Mauricio Pochettino’s midfield, so much so that he apparently rejected the opportunity of a move to the San Siro.

The 31-year-old has suffered with injury problems in recent seasons but his experience is still a key asset for Spurs.

Nabil Fekir was all set for Liverpool previously.

Speculation over Nabil Fekir’s Lyon future has intensified ahead of the closure of the transfer window in France on August 31.

L’Equipe reports that the 25-year-old, who was bound for Liverpool before the Reds cooled their interest, could make a sensational move before the deadline.

According to sources, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are in the running for his signature while Manchester United still retain an interest.

However, it remains to be seen whether any form of deal could be brokered this month.

The France World Cup winner does though seem set to leave in the near future, particularly given new contract talks have also broken down.
