Juventus are reportedly considering whether they can tempt Paris Saint-Germain into a late sale of France midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot, 23, has turned down repeat overtures from the Ligue 1 champions to extend a contract that expires next summer. This has caused sustained links to Barcelona.
But La Stampa reports that the Old Lady are working out whether a deal at a cut-price €20 million can be arranged before Friday’s transfer deadline in Italy. This would require PSG to sanction a cheap exit, rather than let the player leave for nothing in a year’s time.
Juve have repeatedly shown themselves to be experts in working the free-agency market. Germany midfielder Emre Can became the latest bargain recruit this summer after his contract at Liverpool was run down.
