Goal reports Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has spoken to Paul Pogba in attempt to lure him to the Ligue 1 champions.
The two are good friends, and Neymar has previously tried convincing Pogba to become a team-mate, back when the Brazilian was a Barcelona player.
Pogba’s future at current club Manchester United is up in the air, as his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho has soured in recent months, and the player has allegedly been looking to engineer a move away from Old Trafford behind the scenes.
Neymar himself has been linked with a move away from PSG throughout this year, even though he only joined last summer, but his interest in trying to help improve the squad suggests he is committed to the club long-term.
Despite his efforts, however, the Parisians may struggle to sign Pogba, as they are currently under investigation for the signing of Neymar and Pogba’s fellow Frenchman Kylian Mbappe over possible Financial Fair Play violations. Given the transfer fee United will no doubt demand for their star midfielder, PSG may be priced out of a move while the investigation is ongoing.
