  • Thierry Henry was announced as the new manager of AS Monaco

Two Premier League icons could be named as the new management team of Aston Villa, according to the Daily Mirror.

The paper says former Arsenal man Thierry Henry will share the dugout with John Terry, who announced his retirement from football on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Daily Telegraph says Brendan Rodgers has ruled himself out of the running but that Jose Mourinho’s former assistant Rui Faria is also still in the frame for the Villa hot seat.

Miguel Almiron, who has lit up the MLS for Atlanta United this season, could be moving to the Emirates in January, the Daily Mirror says.

The Paraguay striker has scored 12 goals this season and could be subject of a £15million move in January.

Ryan Kent, currently on loan at Rangers from Liverpool, is open to the idea of making the move permanent, the Scottish Sun reports.

Kent, 21, has been on the books of Liverpool since 2015 and has make six appearances for the Ibrox outfit sine joining in July.

Another potential departure from Anfield is Nathaniel Clyne, who is wanted by Leicester City the Daily Mirror says.

Clyne has only made one appearance this season for Liverpool but is on the radar of Claude Puel.
