  • Phil Foden has yet to agree a long-term deal with Man City.

Manchester City could lose talented youngster Phil Foden for a minimal fee as some of Europe’s biggest clubs are circling around the 18-year-old who has just 20 months remaining on his current contract.

The club and player are due to have talks over a new deal, but Foden could elect to let his contract run down – in which case the Sky Blues would be due a compensation of only £175,000.

Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig have all expressed their interest in Foden’s services.

The England U21 international has made 12 appearances for the first team, and scored his first senior goal last month during City’s Carabao Cup win over Oxford United.

Manager Pep Guardiola is a big admirer of the player, despite giving Foden limited appearances during the player’s rise through the ranks.
