    Tanguy Ndombele

The highly-rated Lyon midfielder is set to deal a blow to PSG and Tottenham by signing for Manchester City, according to L’Equipe.

Pep Guardiola is keen to strengthen his midfield in January with the France international viewed as ideal competition for Fernandinho, who turned 33 in May.

It is understood that Lyon are unwilling to sell Ndombele to PSG, and would prefer to sell the player abroad, which has alerted Manchester City’s interests.

Ndombele made 36 league appearances for Lyon last term and has played all 11 matches this season so far.

    Anthony Martial

Jose Mourinho wants the rejuvenated Frenchman to sign a contract extension and continue his journey to the top with Manchester United, according to Manchester Evening News.

Just a few months ago it seemed a matter of when rather than if the talented forward would be heading for pastures new, with questions lingering over the 22-year-old’s happiness and relationship with the United manager.

However, the Red Devils are almost certain to trigger the one-year extension clause in his contract, with Mourinho keen to tie down Martial until 2020.

Martial, who joined the Manchester United from Monaco in September 2015, scored 11 goals across 43 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League giants last season.

    Leon Bailey

The Jamaican international is keen on a move away from Bayer Leverkusen after failing to find a place in Heiko Herrlich’s starting XI this season, according to Bild.

The 21-year-old has been named on the bench in five of his side’s last six games and is set for a move away in January in order to secure more minutes.

While Bailey only signed a new long-term deal in August, there has been significant interest from Roma, Liverpool and Chelsea. But it is unlikely the club will allow the player to leave.
