JULIAN WEIGL

Juventus and Roma are set to swoop for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Calciomercato reports.

The 23-year-old is one of European’s most promising young players, but has had a difficult start to the new season, with a number of sub-par performances for Lucien Favre’s side.

Dortmund are keen to keep hold of the German international but could be resigned to losing him if Juventus or Roma put their full weight behind a transfer bid during the January transfer window.

RUBEN LOFTUS CHEEK

Maurizio Sarri has hinted that the Chelsea midfielder will not leave the club on loan in January, despite struggling to hold down a place in the Blues starting XI, the Express claims.

The 22-year-old is yet to start a league game this season and didn’t even make Gareth Southgate’s England squad for last month’s Nations League clashes against Croatia and Spain.

But should Loftus-Cheek decide to leave Stamford Bridge, he would have no shortage of potential suitors, with Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Wolves all hunting for his signature.

MALCOM

The Brazilian could seek a move away from Barcelona in January, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The 21-year-old has found game time hard to come by at the Camp Nou, playing just 25 minutes over two appearances since joining from Bordeaux in July.

What will be frustrating for Malcom is the fact that 2017-18 was a breakout season for him, but his development has been stalled in Catalonia, having to compete with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele for spots in the Barca attack.
