    DAVID LUIZ

Barcelona are interested in signing the Chelsea centre-back, AS reports.

The La Liga champions currently only have two fit centre backs following injuries to Thomas Vermaelen and Samuel Umtiti.

Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet have forged a decent partnership so far this season but Ernesto Valverde’s side are set to enter the market in January in a bid to add more strength to their defence.

Although it would be appealing for any player to wear the Barcelona shirt, it would take a lot for the Catalan side to lure Luiz from West London, considering he is a key man for Maurizio Sarri this term.

    ERIC BAILLY

AC Milan are planning to test Manchester United’s resolve with a bid for the Ivory Coast international, according to ESPN.

The 24-year-old was substituted just 19 minutes into the Red Devil’s win over Newcastle on October 6 and has not featured for Jose Mourinho’s side since.

United are seeking defensive reinforcements in January and Bailly, who only joined from Villarreal in June 2016, is among those who could be replaced due to a run of poor form.

    ALFONSO PEDRAZA

Alfonso Pedraza is among the left-backs being considered by Real Madrid in the January transfer window, according to Marca.

The 22-year-old is currently on the books of Villarreal, but could be offered the chance to move to the Bernabeu in the future.

The Spain U-21 international has featured in all 13 of Villarreal’s matches this term and has established himself as a key player, including scoring a late goal in the 1-1 draw against Levante last weekend.

With Marcelo turning 31 next May, Los Blancos are looking to strengthen their depth at left-back, where 21-year-old Sergio Reguilon is currently back-up.
