    LUKA MODRIC

The Real Madrid midfielder has been linked with a stunning move to Juventus, according to the Express.

With Los Blancos struggling for form this term, the 33-year-old could be tempted by a move to Italy where he would bring buckets of experience to a potential Champions League-winning side.

The Croatian international is into his sixth season in La Liga, having joined from Tottenham in 2012, and was previously the subject of interest from Inter Milan.

    MEHDI BENATIA

Manchester United have emerged as frontrunners to sign the highly-rated Juventus defender, according to Tuttosport.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho wants to sign an experienced defender in January to marshal his back four after leaking 18 goals in the opening 11 league matches this term.

Benatia, 31, has made just four appearances in Serie A this season and has already opened the door to a January move, with Arsenal also interested in the out-of-favour defender.
