  • The winter transfer window is a little over a month away, but that hasn’t stopped the rumours of various players potentially being on the move.

Across the world of football, there remains plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen when the market reopens in January.

    ADRIEN RABIOT

The Frenchman is set to meet with PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi one final time in an effort to work out a deal, according to Sport.

Rabiot is out of contract at the end of the season, with Barcelona and Juventus seen as potential destinations if the 23-year-old does not sign a fresh deal at Parc des Princes.

The Ligue 1 champions are expected to offer a significant contract to their star midfielder, who has played 219 matches since joining the club in 2010.

Borussia Dortmund have signed the Spanish striker in a £22.7m deal from Barcelona after activating an option in his loan deal, according to Bild.

The Bundesliga leaders signed the 25-year-old on a season-long loan in August, with an option to purchase.

Following nine goals in just eight matches, the German side have decided to lock Alcacer down on a long-term deal until 2023.

His form for Dortmund also earned him to recall to the national team after a two year absence, and he has netted three goals in two matches since his La Roja return.
