Chelsea have started talks with Napoli over the signing of right-back Elseid Hysaj in January, Calciomercato reports.
The Albanian established himself as one of the best defenders in Europe last season and was instrumental in the Partenopei’s Serie A title tilt.
With out-of-favour Davide Zappacosta set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, Hysaj is viewed as the ideal replacement to fill the right-back berth.
With full-backs at such a premium, the 24-year-old’s €50 million transfer fee represents good value with the West London club ready to activate his fee next month.
Juventus are set to make a move for Real Madrid playmaker Isco, according to Calciomercato.
The 26-year-old is yet to start a match under new boss Santiago Solari, and Madrid have not ruled out a sale next summer, especially with an eye to signing Eden Hazard from Chelsea.
Isco was in impressive form last season, netting seven goals in 30 La Liga matches, and keeping Gareth Bale on the bench.
The Serie A giants have now joined the race for the Spaniard, with Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri a keen admirer of the player.
Chelsea have stolen a march on AC Milan in the race for Denis Suarez’s signature, according to Express.
The Barcelona midfield is into his second stint at Camp Nou but has struggled for playing time, making just two appearances all season.
Milan are keen on taking Suarez on loan in January with an option to buy in the summer.
However, Chelsea are willing make a permanent move for the 24-year-old during the winter transfer window itself and that has given them the edge over the Serie A outfit with the Blaugrana keen on a cash deal in January.
