Rodrygo does not believe he will move to Real Madrid early as the Brazilian sensation prepares to join Santiago Solari’s side in July.
Los Blancos agreed a fee in the region of €45 million to sign the 17-year-old attacker from Santos.
But the Sao Paulo native – who celebrates his 18th birthday next month – does not expect to move to the Spanish capital in the winter transfer window.
“I don’t believe there is a chance I will leave for Madrid early,” Rodrygo said to Gazeta Esportiva. “It’s agreed that I’m going in July.
“That agreement is between Santos and Real Madrid.
“I’m focused on Santos.
“When I get there, I will think about it, but for the moment I just want to stand out with Santos.”
Rodrygo has scored eight goals and provided three assists in his 35 appearances to date in the Brazilian top flight.
Chelsea have started talks with Napoli over the signing of right-back Elseid Hysaj in January, Calciomercato reports.
The Albanian established himself as one of the best defenders in Europe last season and was instrumental in the Partenopei’s Serie A title tilt.
With out-of-favour Davide Zappacosta set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, Hysaj is viewed as the ideal replacement to fill the right-back berth.
With full-backs at such a premium, the 24-year-old’s €50 million transfer fee represents good value with the West London club ready to activate his fee next month.
Juventus are set to make a move for Real Madrid playmaker Isco, according to Calciomercato.
The 26-year-old is yet to start a match under new boss Santiago Solari, and Madrid have not ruled out a sale next summer, especially with an eye to signing Eden Hazard from Chelsea.
Isco was in impressive form last season, netting seven goals in 30 La Liga matches, and keeping Gareth Bale on the bench.
The Serie A giants have now joined the race for the Spaniard, with Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri a keen admirer of the player.
